FIFA 21 is coming, and it looks as though the game could be featured as part of the Xbox Series X Showcase Event on Thursday.
Twitter user @FUTDonk managed to locate the game's official reveal trailer, or at least, a placeholder for the official premiere which is set for 4 PM BST on July 23.
FIFA 21 Reveal Trailer Coming As Part of Xbox Event?
We all know FIFA is coming, and as a result, it's not likely to be the kind of game that stuns people when announced as part of a platform holder's conference.
That's why it works out quite nicely that the timing lines up with the Xbox event's pre-show, hosted by Geoff Keighley.
Next Thursday, join me for a special Xbox Games Showcase pre show on @YouTubeGaming with additional world premieres! Live at 11 am ET / 8 am PT, plus @Halo Infinite campaign reveal in the showcase. #SummerGameFestpic.twitter.com/1ui9oUYh7n

You can check out the placeholder for the video below, which couldn't really be any clearer.
Of course, there's always the chance EA is just dropping a trailer when everyone is looking the other way (this is the company that released Titanfall 2 between Battlefield and Call of Duty), but it seems likely that FIFA will play into Xbox's event in some capacity.
EA has been a firm friend of Microsoft, even during the tumultuous early years of the Xbox One. Not only was the original Titanfall an Xbox One exclusive, but the publisher also launched its EA Access subscription service first on Microsoft's console.
FIFA fans on Xbox have also been able to unlock legends in Ultimate Team in the past that were exclusive to the platform.
