FIFA 21's Ultimate Team can often be a lonely experience, being that the mode focuses more on solo gameplay with one single club.
While EA has done some great things to introduce co-op play for online, you may have friends over at your place and wish to play online with them.
There are a few options to get the most out of your FUT experience with your buddies.

How To Add A Guest In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team
If this feature is added in the next game, here's how to add a gues easily:
- You have to have one active account with the correct online permissions and subscription service (Xbox Live or PSN Plus)
- Log in on a second controller under a guest profile
- When loading into an online match, press Y for Xbox or Triangle for PlayStation and this will add a guest to the game.
You can usually add up to three guests, meaning you can play with up to four players on the same team.
How To Play FUT Co-Op
If you're abiding by the correct social distancing rules, you may be just looking to play with your friend online.
There is two way to do this: Online Co-Op or Friendly Seasons.
EA's bringing in a new mode this year called FUT Co-op. Players can now play online cooperatively in Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and FUT Friendlies.
To do this you'll need to make your way to the new friends widget by pressing R2 or RT. Select your friend and this will take you to the Co-Op lobb.y

When opting to play Co-Op in Squad Battles and Division Rivals both players will use one of their scored weekly matches.
The person who sets up the lobby will become the Captain, meaning that they have control over which of their squads will be used for the match and what game mode you will play.
From the lobby, both players will see the Captain's top-rated players from their current active squad, and when both players are ready the captain will have the ability to start the game in the chosen mode.
Based on the result of the game each participant will earn their weekly score and coins for the match using the regular in-game calculations.
With each game counting towards your number of scored matches, playing well together will be an important factor for both of your success.
How To Play Against Friends
To play against a friend, simply select a friend from the friends widget and invite them to play an online friendly game.
