Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 6 Challenges Guide

Blow up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands or Flopper Pond

Fishing Spots spawn randomly in water, and thankfully these locations are all right by a water source.

Blowing Up means you’ll have to use explosives, duh.

There are three sources that can have the desired effects: grenades, motorboats and rocket launchers.

Firing a rocket or dropping an explosive into the Fishing Spot show blow it up, causing materials, ammo and Small Fry to appear.

You're better of dropping into a Team Rumble game as grenade spawns are fairly common.

Destroy Motorboats

The best location to drop is Craggy Cliffs as there are two on the shoreline behind the restaurant.

If you head West, you can easily find a third motorboat in the same game.

You can destroy Motorboats using any weapon, even your pickaxe.

Though we’d recommend something like a rifle or an SMG.

Your harvesting tool will knock the boat around considerably and is fairly slow, but beats doing nothing if you are weaponless.

Blow up Fishing Holes at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe and near Steamy Stacks

Catch Fish

If you haven't done much Fishing in Fortnite, it's very straight forward.

You simply need to grab a Fishing Rod or Harpoon and head to water.

You'll spot a cluster of fish swimming with ripples of water above them

Throw a Fishing Rod into the cluster and wait for the fish to take the bait, then pull the rod back to catch.

You can use a Harpoon Gun by simply firing it into the cluster of fish.

Signal the Coral Buddies

This Quest is a mystery at the moment as the Coral Buddies could be located anywhere.

However, this is a challenge that has surfaced in Fortnite before, so we're assuming we will need to visit Coral Buddies Island (located in the top left of the island above Coral Castle.

Destroy Boats

Lake Canoe and Craggy Cliffs offer many many boats for you to break, with canoes and larger boats to break with your pickaxe.

If you head to Craggy Cliffs, where there are a number of motorboats, you should be able to complete two challenges at once.

Destroy Fishing Rod Barrels

You should be able to find fishing barrels at any nearby watering holes, lakes, rivers or fishing cabins. You will even find a few inside buildings.

To get this challenge done fast, we recommend heading to Craggy Cliffs.

In the middle of town you’ll find this building, Cap’n Carp Bait and Tackle.

Inside you’ll find a bunch of fishing paraphernalia and importantly plenty of Fishing Barrels.

In our testing, we found nine which is two more than the seven you’d need for the challenge!

To destroy the fishing barrels, just whack ‘em with your pickaxe.

Fishing Barrels aren’t too sturdy and should go down with just one hit.
