Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is upon us, with many fans looking forward to what this update has in-store for long-time players, though we’re sure the number of licensed characters will still gain interest from casuals.

The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 leaks have revealed quite a number of things and since aliens were confirmed for the update, it’s safe to assume that everything else is legitimate because Fortnite is always getting patches and they’re fairly easy to datamine.

Fortnite Season 7 Event

Since Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 will be ending on June 7, a live event is expected to bring in the new Season.

Fans remembered how Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 ended with a big finale to the Zero Crisis story but leaks have stated that the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 finale could have players participating in a special live event.

Players are gonna have to wait and see but this could be promising.

Fortnite Season 7 Event Start Time

If things go to plan, the Season 7 event could begin at around 9am BST on June 8, the day of the Season 7 launch.

This is very different to what long time fans have been used to, which normally saw live events taking place in the weekend before a new season.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Leaks

With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 officially coming out on June 8, here are all the major leaks that have come out thus far.

Aliens

Seeing Fortnite experiment with a number of themes has been really fun, whether it’s comic book events or something completely original, so seeing them go for a retro gimmick like UFOs has us smiling.

Players can even get abducted by UFOs right now if they follow a few steps and it looks like Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 will include even more alien-based shenanigans, so fans better get ready for them.

Thor and Loki

With the Loki Disney+ series coming out this month and Thor: Love and Thunder coming out next year, it only makes sense to include the Asgardian brothers in Fortnite.

Leaks have said that the Asgardian Gods of the Trickster and Thunder variety will be coming with updated skins.

Thor has already been in the game after the first Fortnite/Marvel event but we’re sure fans will go crazy over whatever new skin is announced.

Superman

Keeping in sync with the alien based theme, Superman does make a fine addition to the game. He's one of the newest super heroes from DC to make an appearance in Fortnite.

Rick and Morty

Well look, we didn't get Family Guy, so Rick and Morty will do, for now. It was a surprise to see this collaboration become a part of the Fortnite universe.

Downtime Schedule

Based upon the information we've seen on the Fortnite Status Twitter page, the downtime begins at around 6 AM UTC.

That being said, since the Fortnite 17.00 patch introduces a new season altogether, the size of the patch will be slightly larger than normal.

Vaulted Weapons

Since this season is based on a futuristic theme, it doesn't make sense to have the makeshift weapons and the primal weapons in the game.

These weapons will be heading back to the vault. They'll be replaced by new futuristic weapons. I just hope the crafting mechanic is still there in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

Patch Notes

For some reason, Epic Games has stopped handing out patch notes to players for a while now. However, the community has a group of dedicated data miners who end up leaking the things for us.

We'll update the section once we've compiled all the updates.
