November is on the horizon and the release of the next-gen consoles is nearly here.
Along with them is a list of new and exciting games that push the hardware of Microsoft and Sony's new consoles.
These include Cyberpunk 2077, Assassins Creed Valhalla and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
However, a lot of players want to continue to play their favourite current titles on the next-gen consoles.
For PUBG fans, a recent announcement has revealed they'll be able to do exactly that.
PUBG Available On Next-Gen With No Graphical Upgrade
The news that PUBG will be available on next-gen consoles at launch is great for any FPS fan.
The game has been a giant in the Battle Royale genre for a number of years and has a huge fanbase.
However, despite being available on the next-gen consoles at launch, PUBG will not take advantage of the upgraded hardware.
The PS5 will run the PS4 Pro version and the Xbox Series X/S will run the Xbox One X version of the game.
This will be disappointing for some fans of the game who were hoping to get an upgraded version of the title.
Of course, there's still the potential that this will happen in the future.
However, at the launch of the next-gen consoles, we'll have to make do with a backwards-compatible version of the game.
PUBG Season 9 will bring 60 FPS to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
