The idea of having a separate area for Warzone 2 players to test their weapons before dropping into the action is an interesting one. Instead of learning the characteristics of their loadout during a match, a testing area enabling players to fine-tune their choices could prove a popular addition.
With the Call of Duty Next event on the horizon, there’s a high possibility of fans hearing more about the next chapter of the battle royale that will feature an all-new map and a new set of weapons to master.
As fans begin to share their ideas on what Warzone 2 should contain, many believe the addition of a firing range is a ‘must’ for the game.
Players want a Warzone firing range
With attention switching from the final season of the Pacific era, Reddit user “Lifesstwange” says the battle royale “must have a firing range” to give players a chance to test their Warzone loadouts before the action begins.
“Just a simple, easy-to-launch firing range that can be accessed from the loadout screen.”
Rather than waiting for more intel on Warzone 2, an event hosted by Infinity Ward earlier in the year confirms the presence of a firing range in the game and also in Modern Warfare 2 which will integrate into the game when it launches.
It’s clear many are looking forward to using a firing range to their advantage. In addition, one player suggests a “copy and paste” feature allowing players to copy their builds without having to select each individual attachment all over again. However, many were quick to point out that this particular feature is already available to use in the current iteration of Warzone.
As players wait for a firing range to arrive in Warzone 2, it will be interesting to see how it impacts loadout creation. For more, check out our guide showcasing the best Warzone 2 guns.
