With new Sniffer mobs, Cherry Blossom biomes, Archeology gameplay, and more building blocks than you'll know what to do with, the Minecraft Trails and Tales release date and time can't come soon enough. It's a jam-packed update that offers significant additions to a few different parts of the game.

The Minecraft updates in recent years have been making a real effort to add something unique Whether it's the complete rework to mining with the underground caves, or the Ancient Cities released in Summer 2022, there's always something special to look forward to.

Minecraft Trails and Tales release date countdown

At the time of writing, there is no official release date or time for the Minecraft Trails and Tales update. That isn't out of the ordinary for major Minecraft patches.

We first learned about what was in store for the 1.20 Minecraft update in the Minecraft Live 2022 event, where Game Director Agnes Larsson explained that this update would make the game more 'Minecraftier' than ever, with a big emphasis on self-expression and creativity.

The Trails and Tales update was named to reflect the journey that Minecraft has taken us on since its first full release back in 2011. Since then, millions of players around the world have made memories in the game, all with unique stories and friendships along the way.

The new items added into the game in the 1.20 update hope to only support this further, giving us more ways to express ourselves in the game.
