Those who pre-ordered a digital edition of Modern Warfare 2 received early access to Infinity Ward's latest single-player blockbuster that builds on the story set in 2019's Modern Warfare. Usually, players had to prioritise between the campaign and multiplayer but in this case, players have a whole week to complete the story before dropping into the action.

There are a total of 17 rewards available to earn by playing the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. Alongside a range of calling cards and emblems, players can unlock four base Operators to use in multiplayer and Warzone 2 when it launches. Here's the full list of rewards:

How to unlock Union Guard weapon blueprint
By completing the campaign, you can get your hands on the Union Guard weapon blueprint.

Described as Captain Price's "signature weapon," the blueprint comes with four attachments allowing you to jump straight into a match and make an impact. These are the attachments that appear on the Union Guard blueprint:
- Muzzle: FSS Covert V Silencer
- Laser: SZ 1MW PEQ
- Optic: Aim OP-V4 Reflex
- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 Vertical Grip
Although there's no mention of which weapon the blueprint is for, it's clear to see that the picture above shows the M4 assault rifle. As this is one of the first assault rifles players unlock in multiplayer, there's a high chance of the blueprint proving extremely popular when the servers are switched on.
Do Modern Warfare 2 campaign rewards expire?
If you haven't pre-ordered a digital edition of Modern Warfare 2, there's still plenty of time to earn these rewards. Thankfully, they don't expire meaning you can work your way through the campaign at a later date and still earn all the items up for grabs.
