Once Human trailer

In the Once Human trailer, we see the player hunting both natural wildlife and monstrous aberrations such as a huge swarm of spiders and a giant tree creature. We also see a team of players clearing a settlement, which may potentially be home to an enemy human faction. Plus, we get a quick look at some of the superpowers available to players in Once Human too.

Also in the trailer, we get to see some of Once Human's base-building elements, which look surprisingly pretty for a game with such a dark premise. We also see two players frolicking around on motorcycles, meaning Starry Studios are hoping players will make the most of the lighter side of their game when it is released.

If you want to get a look at the gameplay for Once Human yourself, we've got the official reveal trailer for the game down below.

Once Human everything we know

Once Human is a multiplayer, open-world survival game set in a strange, post-apocalyptic future. The game will have co-op multiplayer upon release, and you and a team of friends and can try to survive the world of Once Human.

In the future, Once Human's main form of monetisation is planned to come from microtransactions for cosmetic purchases. However, the developers have committed to not adding any pay-to-win element with these in-game transactions. This is a pledge we often see made for games, and whether Starry Studio keeps its word long-term remains to be seen.

Also, seasonal content releases are planned for Once Human after its official launch. These are pitched as "seasonal scenarios", with their own characteristics, rules, maps, and more. Players will be able to receive a wealth of season rewards by completing these scenarios, and we can't wait to hear more about them.
