With Arcane ending in such spectacular fashion, many fans can’t wait for the release of the follow-up series, which is said to focus on a completely different side of Runeterra.

While Studio Fortiche has not announced the official follow-up, it released a cinematic that serves as a pseudo-epilogue to Arcane.

Besides Mel, the Welcome to Noxus cinematic also featured a lot of known League of Legends heroes, and it’s possible that they could be featured in the next series.

While nothing official has been confirmed, the fact that the character models exist and they mention a connection to Piltover could mean that Fortiche plans to utilize these characters in the future.

These are the existing League champions that were featured in the short:

Katarina – Known to be one of Noxus’ greatest assassins, Katarina is known to go after heavily guarded targets—as seen in the cinematic. She is the eldest daughter of General Du Couteau, and she made a name for herself with her swift assassinations using serrated daggers.

Elise – Referred to by others as the Spider Queen, Elise was once a human who was the mistress of a powerful house, but a bite from a demigod transformed her into this immortal creature. Elise lures unsuspecting victims into her web to keep her youth, feeding on naïve and faithless prey.

Darius – A native Noxian, Darius is considered one of the nation’s most feared leaders, and he has time and again proven himself to be a formidable warrior, earning the title of the Hand of Noxus. The commander of the Trifarian Legion, Darius, has no doubt that his cause is noble, and anyone who stands in his way can expect no mercy from his axe.

Trundle – described as a devious, vicious troll, Trundle is said to be fiercely territorial and attack any stranger that walks in his path with his club of True Ice. Though it does seem like Trundle is the one that Darius beats in the short, it’s possible that the troll in the short was just the same race, but the actual Trundle could be one of the trolls teased on the horizon.

LeBlanc – Originally suspected to be the shadowy figure that abducts Mel in the last season of Arcane, LeBlanc is shown as the leader of the Black Rose cabal. It’s unclear how long she’s been alive, but she has used her powers to manipulate the events of Noxus, and it now looks like she has plans with Mel, who has arrived on their front step to claim the throne.

Vladimir – While he does have the appearance of the usual aristocratic vampire, Vladimir is actually just a hemomancer, which means he can manipulate blood. His powers allow him to control the minds and bodies of others, and he also uses mortal blood to extend his life unnaturally.

Like LeBlanc, it’s also hinted that Vladimir has been manipulating the world of Noxus from the shadows since its first days.

Season 1 of League of Legends, Welcome to Noxus, is live. The game is currently available for PC.
