Marvel's Avengers could add Spider-Man as early as January, according to Official PlayStation Magazine.
In a photo taken from the latest issue of the long-running magazine, it sounds as though Peter Parker could be swinging onto the game's roster very soon indeed.

Some caveats, of course. For one, magazines have a lead time while the physical copies are printed, which means that this information was likely revealed before Crystal Dynamics announced a spate of delays.
Last week, the developer noted that the PS5 and Series S/X optimised versions of Marvel's Avengers have been delayed until 2021, while the upcoming release of Kate Bishop has also been pushed back.
That could mean that Spidey's appearance has been nudged back as well.
Spider-Man's PS4 exclusivity has been a controversial topic since being announced before the game launched.
Crystal Dynamics responded to fan outcry back in August:
“Because of Sony’s unique relationship with Marvel and PlayStation, specifically, that gives us an affordance with Spider-Man that we wouldn’t have otherwise. So that’s something unique because of that relationship” Studio Head Scot Amos explained at a recent press event.
When pressed about how Xbox and PC gamers could play as Spider-Man, Amos explained that they "have the option to do so on PlayStation".
The game has undoubtedly got some issues, but its campaign is its strongest aspect.
