Modern Warfare: ISO SMG Attachments, Build And Loadout For Your Class

The ISO is just one of the many exciting options in Modern Warfare.

The ISO SMG was added to the game with the Season 5 update and is now available in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Here, we cover our favourite loadout for the ISO SMG. With the right attachments, utility and perks you'll dominate in Modern Warfare's multiplayer with ease.

Unfortunately, the ISO is designed for close-range combat, so struggles in large, open spaces.

Here are the best attachments for the ISO in Modern Warfare.

Primary Weapon

ISO SMG

The ISO SMG has just been added to Modern Warfare. You'll need to play the game to unlock the weapon through the Season 5 battle pass.

Once unlocked, you'll need to use the gun to level it up and unlock the attachments. You can use weapon XP boosts to help with this, as well as double XP weekends.

The attachments you'll want to use are:

  • FSS Nightshade (Barrel)
  • FORGE TAC Ultralight (Stock)
  • 50 Round Drums (Ammunition)
  • Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • Tac Laser (Laser)

One benefit you'll get from the ISO over the MP5 is the 50 round mags. Although the difference is only 5 bullets, this can make a huge difference in those clutch situations, especially on smaller maps like shipment and shoothouse.

Secondary Weapon

Knife

The knife is a great compliment to the ISO SMG. By using an aggressive playstyle, you can use the knife to reach choke points before your enemies.

Although the knife won't give you help at the range, it can help you close the gap with speed, giving you the advantage with the ISO.

The ISO can also pair well with long-range weapons like the Bruen MK9 and Kar98k, as you can then take fights at any range.

Grenades

Lethal

You'll want to equip the Frag grenades with this class. This allows you to not only clear buildings with ease but also force enemies into chokepoints for easy kills.

If you're planning on getting aggressive with this class, a Frag Grenade would also be a good choice, as you can easily clear rooms and small areas.

Tactical

You'll want to equip the Stun or Flash with this class. This allows you to easily breach and clear areas of the map, without needing to put yourself at risk.

This can also give you a great advantage when paired with the Heartbeat Sensor. You can ensure enemies are tagged by the flash by calling out the enemies location on the heartbeat sensor.

Perks

The perks you'll want to equip are:

  • Cold Blooded (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Tracker (Perk 3)

These perks allow you to clear buildings while taking out campers and snipers with ease.

You can also use Ghost (perk 2) to flank your enemies and gain the advantage that way. This perk allows for a lot of freedom in your playstyle, as the enemies can never be sure where you are.

Tracker (Perk 3) will also make it easy to clear buildings, as you can see the enemies footsteps, giving you that advantage in tight areas.
