If you’re looking to rank up your season-five battle pass in Modern Warfare or Warzone, you’re in luck. This weekend, Infinity Ward’s flipping the switch on another “triple feed”: double experience, double weapon XP, and double battle-pass progression.
“Consider playing with the latest battle-pass system weapons to level them up quickly in fast-paced multiplayer matches,” Activision says in a new blog post. “Plus, you’ll gain progress in this season’s battle-pass system to unlock epic and legendary blueprints, Operator skins and missions, and more.”
The “triple feed” weekend will last from Friday, August 7, at 10 a.m. Pacific time till 10 a.m. on Monday, August 10.
Modern Warfare free-access weekend
If you’ve got the standalone, free-to-play version of Warzone, this weekend’s also your chance to try out more of what Modern Warfare has to offer. Just make sure you’ve got the new season-five update for Call of Duty: Warzone installed, and you should be good to go.
“Battle across five multiplayer maps, including Suldal Harbor and Petrov Oil Rig, both new this season,” Activision said in another recent post. “The playlist will be a map mosh pit featuring a mix of deathmatch and objective modes, giving the opportunity for varying engagements and tactical play each match.”
The mosh-pit playlist will be active in Warzone from Friday, August 7, at 10 a.m. Pacific time until 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 12.
Warzone season five
Modern Warfare and Warzone both got a massive seasonal update on August 5, introducing a new battle pass; new maps for 6v6 multiplayer, Ground War, and Gunfight; and of course a season’s worth of new modes, Operators, weapons, and cosmetic rewards.
