Modern Warfare's most recent patch update was a real gamechanger for the game, bringing plenty of adjustments, fixes and new content.
Although it did bring an unintended stat reset glitch, one unnoticed development is the fact that Piccadilly features a potential new Operator.
Modern Warfare's iconic character Ghost could be making his debut to Modern Warfare's multiplayer.
Here are the latest details
Ghost Operator Coming Soon
After the most recent update, players have spotted on the Piccadilly map that the large screens change from their usual advertising spots to a picture of what can only be described as a ghost.
Naturally, players have drawn conclusions that this is a nice hint towards the legendary Modern Warfare Character Simon "Ghost" Riley.
Another hint has appeared in Borgars on Tavorsk District
Many players that have seen this hint have taken to Reddit to express their interest in Ghost returning to the multiplayer.
One user even queried why Infinity Ward hadn't thought of this idea sooner?
It's important to stress that this is purely speculation and not confirmed
Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 or Season 2 Content?
Although I'm sure a handful of fans would be thrilled at the prospect of a sequel to the 2013 game Call of Duty: Ghosts, it's unlikely that this is what it's referring to.
It's far too early in the year to be receiving hints about COD 2020, nor is it likely we would receive our first hint in Modern Warfare.
It has been rumoured that COD 2020 is Black Ops 5 or a Black Ops reboot - being developed by Treyarch.
With Ghosts being an Infinity Ward title, it's almost certainly not Ghosts 2.
However, it could be a hint to the next season's theme and a nod at upcoming content for Season 2.
