Modern Warfare 725 Setup And Best Attachments For Your Class

The 725 shotgun has fallen from grace but still holds a strong place in Modern Warfare.

This break-action shotgun features a rapid-fire two-round capacity proving deadly at any range.

With so many ways of using the 725, it is important to create have the best setup and attachments equipped depending on your style of play.

Here are three 725 classes complete with Modern Warfare tips & tricks that will have you beaming in no time.

Class 1 – Total Sweat

This is the most overpowered class possible. Ready for any possible scenario, it works. Plain and simple.

Attachments

  • Tempus Smooth Bore (Barrel)
  • Chronen Ergo Precision (Stock)
  • Aim-Op Reflex Sight (Optic)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • FMJ (Perk)

Adding a reflex sight gives the 725 a bit of extra range while FMJ further increases its damage output through objects and against enemy killstreaks.

Perks

  • Overkill (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Spotter (Perk3)

Overkill allows you to equip a good secondary for any long-range engagements. We opted for a fully equipped M4 for maximum attack. Spotter will help spot any sneaky Claymores when rushing around a corner in anticipation for a quick kill.

Grenades

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Stun Grenade (Tactical)

As always, it is personal preference when choosing a lethal. The stun grenade is great for temporarily disabling any claymores.

Field Upgrade

  • Dead Silence

The slight increase in movement speed along with silent footsteps to traverse the map is the perfect addition to cause maximum impact on the battlefield.

Killstreaks

  • UAV (4 Kills)
  • Cruise Missile (5 Kills)
  • VTOL Jet (8 Kills)

Nothing too high-scoring here. These are all easily attainable and it’s definitely possible to score plenty of these streaks over the course of a single game.

Class 2 – With The Quickness

With a heavy focus on being mobile to avoid oncoming gunfire, this class allows you to play very quickly and rack some kills along the way.

Attachments

  • 1mW laser (Laser)
  • Merc Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • Mo’ Money (Perk)
  • Sawed-off Barrel (Barrel)
  • Chronen Pro Light (Stock)

Using this particular stock is perfect when moving round the map when aiming down the sights (ADS) The laser also increases hip-fire accuracy which is always a bonus when you’re not always scoped in with the 725.

Perks

Double Time (Perk 1)

Hardline (Perk 2)

Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

For maximum dexterity, Double Time is a must while Hardline will make higher killstreaks a bit easier to acquire.

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

Stim is critical when you need a quick burst of health to get back in the fight faster than letting your health regenerate at its normal speed.

Field Upgrades

  • Stopping Power

On the odd occasion, you can get hitmarkers with the 725. Stopping Power rounds eliminates the problem, giving you even more damage.

Killstreaks

  • Personal Radar (3 Kills)
  • Cluster Strike (5 Kills)
  • Infantry Assault Vehicle (7 Kills)

These streaks are great for a more mobile style of play. The radar helps spot enemies when you’re sprinting round the map while the IAV provides a lot of firepower and it tricky to take down.

Class 3 – Long Range

The 725 can actually be used at ridiculously long ranges. Here’s the best setup to get some longshots.

Attachments

  • Tempus 32” Competition (Barrel)
  • Brownlee 32mm Scope (Optic)
  • Chronen Ergo Precision (Stock)
  • Forge TAC Commander (Guard)
  • Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)

The scope is ideal for getting the long-range kills while every other attachment is designed to minimise any recoil that may occur.

Perks

  • E.O.D (Perk 1)
  • High Alert (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

High Alert is the key perk in this loadout. The increase in awareness when scoped in could be the difference between life and death!

Grenades

Claymore (Lethal)

Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)

Claymores are great for catching anyone off guard when placed in unorthodox positions while the heartbeat sensor makes it easy to locate enemies that are perhaps hidden in a multi-storey building.

Field Upgrades

  • Ammunition Crate

Great for resupplying on claymores and ammunition.

Killstreaks

  • Cluster Strike (5 Kills)
  • Sentry Gun (7 Kills)
  • White Phosphorus (10 Kills)

It is possible to score white phosphorus but it may take a bit of practice. The sentry is dominant when holding down a section of the map too.
