The next expansion for Monster Hunter Rise called Sunbreak is slated for release some time in the window of summer of 2022. Though more information is expected to be revealed in the coming months as the target release frame is inching closer to happening.
As per PC GamesN, Monster Hunter tweeted that they are getting ready for more announcements about Sunbreak which could be scheduled around next Spring. Director Yoshitake Suzuki's statement reads as:
"Hello everyone! The entire development team is truly grateful for all the warm comments we've received since the announcement of #MHRise Sunbreak! We're gearing up to share some great reveals with everyone next Spring. Stay tuned!"

New Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Announcement Set For Spring Of Next Year
Aside from the possible new reveal for Sunbreak next year, the recently-concluded The Game Awards showed a new trailer for the expansion where the new monster known as Lunagaron, as well as the Elgado outpost.
