Persona 4 Golden Rumoured for Switch and PS4, but Not as a Standalone Release

Persona 4 Golden could finally be arriving on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, but there's a potential catch. Following Atlus' announcement that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is getting re-released next year, an alternate version of Ultimax's official website has been uncovered, listing the Midnight Channel Collection.

As seen on Twitter, @scrambledfaz posted screenshots of this official edition, which shows the Midnight Channel Collection for Switch and PS4. Currently only confirmed for PC via Steam, that includes Golden too. According to this user, the website "didn’t have this on an archived view from 5 days ago."

Persona 4 Golden Rumoured for Switch and PS4, but Not as a Standalone Release

If true, it'll be a welcome confirmation for fans, though Golden could potentially be exclusive to this deluxe edition. Atlus employed this strategy before with Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which saw a PS4 re-release only available through buying the Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection. Either way, we'll have to wait for official confirmation.

Elsewhere, Persona 3 Portable could potentially get a multiplatform remaster. That was leaked by Zippo, who'd previously confirmed Arena Ultimax's upcoming re-release months before its formal confirmation.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax originally released for PS3, Xbox 360, and arcades back in 2013, while Persona 4 Golden is currently out on PS Vita and PC. Make sure to follow us for more gaming news and updates as it happens.
