Does Persona 5 Strikers Have a Demo?

This has led to a lot of fans wondering if there’s a Persona 5 Strikers demo to download and try out. Oddly enough, the answer is yes AND no. Let us explain.

If you have a PlayStation Store or Nintendo eShop account in an Asian region like Japan, Singapore, or Hong Kong, there is a Persona 5 Strikers demo for you to try out. The game stays in Japanese so it might be hard to confirm some things but once you get into combat, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

Unfortunately, if you have a UK or US account, you will not have a demo to try out. The fact that Atlus didn’t release an English demo after the English version of Strikers was officially announced confused a lot of people. There’s always a chance that they will release an English Persona 5 Strikers demo sometime after the game comes out, which has become a common tactic in modern gaming, but there isn’t one right now.

Now, if you really want to try the game out without paying for it first, you can always make a Japanese account in either the PlayStation Store or Nintendo eShop. It’s pretty easy to do so and shouldn’t take a lot of time so hardcore Persona fans should give that a shot. Otherwise, just get the game and see for yourself if it's worth the full price (it is).

Persona 5 Strikers will be coming to the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 23.
