Persona 5 Royal Xbox Release - Rumours, Leaks, And Everything We Know

With Microsoft pulling strings to bring more Japanese games to Xbox, fans have begun to speculate around a Persona 5 Royal Xbox release and whether or not the definitive edition of the game will release elsewhere.

Well, with some leaks suggesting so and rumours swirling we have gathered everything we know about a Persona 5 Royal release on Xbox platforms.

Persona 5 Royal Xbox Release

There have been rumours and rumblings of Persona 5 Royal launching on other platforms for quite some time now, but the key leak players are currently pointing to is that the game was spotted on the Microsoft Store.

It turns out that this image has actually been photoshopped and was passed around earlier in the year. So, no signs as of yet from the Microsoft Store.

Another key leak players have been pointing to is that the game was passed by the Korea Game Management Committee in September 2020.

But, when you look closer, that listing only covers DLC for the game and says that Microsoft is behind the game not Atlus. When comparing it to the original rating for Persona 5 Royal on PS4, the game listing uses the Korean name, not the English one.

On top of that, no platform is listed and the rating is for all ages, which Persona 5 Royal definitely isn't suitable for.

So, what is going on here? The short answer is that this listing is probably a mistake or simply a test in the backend and doesn't signal a Xbox release of Persona 5 Royal.

In the end, that means there are no legitimate signs that Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox. This doesn't mean you should give up hope though, as anything can happen. Persona 4 Golden only came to PC just last year.
