Phasmophobia Update: Three New Map Locations To Come To The Game

Phasmophobia has already made a name for itself but if you're a stranger to the game you should find out more!

Four players are sent to a location, there they must discover and identify a ghost using different equipment and tools.

These can include things such as crucifixes, Ouija boards, smudge sticks and more!

The aim of the game is to figure out the ghost type before you all get killed off, to put it simply.

At the moment there are a few locations you can end up including, three regular houses, two farmhouses, Brownstone High School and the Asylum.

For a game which is still in development, there are loads to chose from.

However, those that have been playing the game consistently may not feel this is enough.

No problem, Kinetic Games, the devs of Phasmophobia, are a step ahead!

Three New Map Locations

Phasmophobia's Trello roadmap has given a load of insight into what's to come in the future, read more about that here.

One of the features coming happens to be three new map locations.

The first being based around a prison, there aren't many details on it yet but many are speculating it will be about the same size as the Asylum.

As well as this, Kinetic Games have even hinted at new ghosts, could they come with the new maps?

The second location is a mansion, likely bigger than places like farmhouses, more of a medium-sized map.

Lastly, the final location will be an apartment building.

So, if you live in an apartment and never want to leave it, give this one a go when it's released.

This could be a large location such as the Asylum or Prison but we aren't sure yet.

Phasmophobia has already exceeded many expectations so we expect no matter what they do to be a crowd-pleaser.

No date or time frame has been announced around these new maps.

We don't even know if they will be put in the game all at once or gradually, maybe they'll change the themes completely...

If we find out anything more, we'll keep you updated here.

While you wait for some new places to explore, why not learn how to use the camera in-game!
