Pokemon Sword And Shield: 21 New Moves Coming In Isle Of Armor DLC Thanks To Pokemon Home Leak

Since the Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield was announced back in January, we've had VERY little information to get excited about (other than a brief mention in the most recent Nintendo Direct Mini).

Now is the time to get excited as a recent datamine has revealed that 21 new moves are coming in the next Pokemon Home update - just in time for the DLC's release.

New Moves Coming To Isle Of Armor

Pokemon are not the only new additions to the game's first DLC, new moves will accompany this big update.

According to Spanish fansite Centro Pokémon, they claim to have datamined the new Pokémon HOME update and found 21 new moves.

These new Pokemon moves include:

  • Expanding Force
  • Steel Roller
  • Scale Shot
  • Meteor Beam
  • Shell Side Arm
  • Misty Explosion
  • Grassy Glide
  • Rising Voltage
  • Terrain Pulse
  • Skitter Smack
  • Burning Jealousy
  • Lash Out
  • Poltergeist
  • Corrosive Gas
  • Coaching
  • Flip Turn
  • Triple Axel
  • Dual Wingbeat
  • Scorching Sands
  • Jungle Healing
  • Wicked Blow
  • Surging Strikes

Upon first reading, it looks like a healthy spread of type-specific moves are being added to the game. Most notably is Zarude's new move Jungle Healing.

The lack of information regarding the new DLC is a surprising new tactic that Nintendo seem to be employing recently, much to the dismay of its fans, as seen by the recent Paper Mario The Origami King announcement; which releases just two months after its initial reveal.
