New PS Plus free games for November 2020 should be announced in the coming days and it has the potential to be one of the best months for subscribers in quite a long time.
Either way, we suspect that it will be an improvement over Vampyr and Need for Speed Payback in October.
The 18 free PS Plus Collection games alone see to that. But with this the first month of PS Plus for the new PS5 console, you would imagine Sony will want to roll out the red carpet.
Whether any further changes are planned to the service, we can't say. Sony has been naturally quiet on the situation, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the company announce how PS Plus will evolve (if at all) with the new generation of consoles.
At the time of writing, there's no leads or leaks to suggest what games could be free, but in lieu of any delicious PlayStation store leaks or some guy on Reddit with insider info, we'll have to make do with these educated predictions.
PS Plus November 2020 - Predictions
We don't like to go too hard on PS Plus predictions here at Gfinity, namely because we know Sony are a pandora's box when it comes to what games they give away.
There's rarely any logic to what PlayStation Plus games are given away so it's best to not overthink it.
For the sake of those in dire need of a good prediction, we'll once again plump for Horizon Zero Dawn and/or Uncharted Lost Legacy.
Both games were left off the massive list of freebies available to PS5 owners with the PS Plus Collection, which are available as of November.
Yet both were also available earlier this year on PS Now - so PlayStation clearly has no qualms giving these exclusives away in some form or another.
It'll certainly help the cause for Sony with the PS5 launching, as both games will no doubt be optimised for the new next-gen console.
And with Horizon Forbidden West due to release in 2021, it'll also be handy for getting fans up to speed on the adventures of Aloy before Guerilla Games sequel launches.
For added value, we wouldn't be surprised to see a PSVR game thrown in too. It's not a given, but Sony do like to hand out a third VR game on occasions, and again, when better to do it than the launch of their new console?
Want more info about both PS4 exclusives? Don't worry, we got you sorted:
Horizon Zero Dawn
Take on the role of skilled hunter Aloy as you explore a lush world inhabited by mysterious mechanised creatures in this exhilarating blockbuster action-RPG.
Nature has reclaimed the ruins of a forgotten civilisation, and pockets of humanity live on in primitive hunter-gatherer tribes. Their dominion over the new wilderness has been usurped by the Machines – fearsome mechanical creatures of unknown origin.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy follows fan-favourite treasure hunter Chloe Frazer on her journey to recover an ancient artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless warmonger. Enlisting the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, they venture to India’s Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh. In her greatest journey yet, Chloe must confront her past and decide what she’s willing to sacrifice to forge her own legacy.
