Super Smash Bros Ultimate is currently THRIVING and is showing no signs of slowing down.
The next DLC pack features Sephiroth from Final Fantasy!
The Switch title is well into its second Fighters Pass that already contains Min-Min from ARMS and Steve from Minecraft.
Steve has opened up new possibilities, becoming Xbox's second property to enter the colourful fighting game.
Here's what we know about Smash Ultimate's 8th DLC character.
Smash Ultimate DLC 8 Release Date

Moveset
Currently, we're a little unsure on what moves Sephiroth possesses and how he brawls as we've only had a reveal trailer.
But expect a full analysis some time next week.
For now, check out our guide on Sephiroth's moves as we try to pick out what he can do from the trailer.
What Will Challenger Pack 8 Include?
As before, the new Challenger pack will include the usual items:
- New Characters
- New Stage
- Music Tracks
The number of Music tracks can vary. Min Min brought 18 with her (the highest in history), while Steve only brought 7 (the lowest in history).
So you can expect a good number of tracks to be added with the pack.
Who Else Could Appear In Future DLC?
In all honesty, there's simply no telling who the next character will be. Nintendo is very good at keeping their new characters a secret.
The frontrunner is Crash Bandicoot, although that seems to be the case anytime a DLC is announced.
A leak surfaced a while back with a lot of incorrect information stating that Crash would be DLC 7. It seemed like the stars were aligning as Crash had just released his first unique adventure for over 10 years and has been a highly sought-after character from fans.
Recent rumours have also suggested that a Trials of Cold Steel crossover could be coming to the game.
Meanwhile, Xbox has also been stirring the pot about potentially getting the Master Chief involved. With Halo Infinite delayed, could this be a tactical ploy from Microsoft to regain focus in the build-up to launch?
Many also believe that a Fortnite collaboration is inevitable at some point in the future.
