Iron Gate teases Valheim Hearth and Home in new key art

Iron Gate shared some Valheim updates in honor of the game’s sixth-week anniversary, including a hint of what we might see out of the Valheim Hearth and Home update.

In just six weeks, Valheim sold more than six million copies, an dIron Gate said there’s no sign of slowing down.

Iron Gate is still working from home, but that’s not what’s keeping Valheim Hearth and Home from releasing.

It’s the volume of work required in maintaining the system and working out bugs.

Iron Gate is taking fan feedback seriously in identifying and resolving these bugs, and they requested players who encounter issues in Valheim submit a report on the Valheim bug tracker, which the developers are continually reveiwing for information on what needs to be fixed.

Iron Gate teases Valheim Hearth and Home in new key art

That said, once Iron Gate pushes Valheim’s next big update through, it’s time to continue working on Hearth and Home.

Valheim’s Hearth and Home update is the first piece of Valheim’s content roadmap.

Hearth and Home focuses on (surprise!) things around the house.

Building houses and adding new things to do around the house is a set of key features in the new Valheim update.

One of those things to do is cooking.

Valheim’s Hearth and Home update will introduce several new recipes and cooking-related building components.

If the key art Iron Gate’s lead artist provided is any indication, it looks like Valheim might be getting a bit more mystical as well.

The new Hearth and Home art shows what looks like a raven perched on a roof.

It could be Valheim will add pets.

It could also be a reference to Odin, one of the key gods in the Norse pantheon and a deity who uses ravens as his chief servants.

We’ll just have to wait and see, so stick with Gfinity for all your Valheim updates and news.
