How do you get free Valorant points?

Valorant has been dominating the hero shooter scene on PC and it has garnered quite the fanbase, despite only coming out last year. Similar to games like Apex Legends, Valorant is free-to-play but also has in-game purchases where players can purchase cosmetic items and new agents.

While you can grind for a number of these things, that takes a good amount of time and unless you’ve paid for a Battle Pass, it’s going to take a while to earn some of these goodies.

How do you get free Valorant points?

Getting free Valorant Points isn’t that easy. The normal way is to just keep playing and playing well so if you’re willing to just grind, simply keep shooting other dudes online. Getting the Battle Pass will help since that increases the number of points you get per game, though you’ll have to shell out cash for that one.

If you are talented in the arts, you can submit some artwork or voicework to the Valorant support game. Granted, you can only ask for up to 50 VP but that’s better than nothing, I suppose. That being said, if you’re not talented in the arts then you’d better get to grinding so you can get more Valorant Points that way.

Honestly, if you’re impatient enough to ask for free Valorant Points, you might as well buy the Battle Pass or, god forbid, just shell out some cash for the in-game currency. That’s annoying, sure, but the game is free-to-play and the developers have to get paid somehow.

With all that being said, Valorant is a good game, and dedicating a few weekend hours to grinding out some Valorant Points is far from a boring thing. Granted, experienced players are probably a little bored and are waiting for the next update to get more interesting content but that’s just the nature of the beast.

Valorant is now playable on PC as a free-to-play shooter.
