Valorant, as a game, is primarily about your raw aim and ability to strategise with a team. It's easy for players to forget about the the aim part, when they see their favourite weapon with an Exclusive or Ultra skin lying on the ground.
The skin makes no difference to gameplay, beside the possibility of VFX making shots feel much nicer, although some argue that these are slightly pay-to-win. However, for a lot of players of Valorant, skins can feel like a big deal. With no community market as of yet, Riot Games instead has a featured collection in their store that rotates every five to twelve days, and a 24-hour rotation of four skins alongside that.
So, when the Night Market rolls around in Valorant, players get a little excited to try and score some new skins. Here's everything you need to know about the Night Market and when to expect the next one.
What Is the Valorant Night Market?
The Night Market in Valorant is a random event that occurs approximately every two months. The event offers players six skins that are randomly discounted, and the skins that each player is offered are completely random.
Additionally, Valorant also introduced the 'Bad Luck Protection Guarantee' in December 2020. This guarantee means that players who do not own every Premium skin in the game will be guaranteed to have at least two Premium skins in their Night Market. You are also not going to get any more than two skins for a single weapon, either, to increase the amount of variation available in every player's Night Market.

Once the Night Market in Valorant is live, you can find it in the top right corner of your main menu screen, indicated by a small icon that looks like a glistening card. Once you click this, you will have six cards to turn over. All of them will feature randomly discounted skins of varying statuses - excluding any Ultra or Exclusive skins, or skins from featured bundles of the prior two Acts.
Once you've turned the cards to reveal which skins you have on offer, you are unable to reroll for any alternate skins - that's it for the event!
When Is the Next Valorant Night Market?
Our last Night Market in Valorant started on May 18, 2022, and finished on May 31, 2022. This means that the Market lasted for just under 2 weeks, and this is typically the case for whenever the Night Market rolls around.
In this instance, Valorant's Night Market is expected to go live on July 20, 2022, and will remain end on August 2, 2022. These dates were leaked over on twitter, so check out our coverage of it.
