How to Parry in Age of Calamity

Parrying was one of Breath of the Wild’s most fun combat features.

It meant that combat wasn’t just about who had the best weapons, but also a bout skill.

Even a scray Lionel could be killed with just a Rusty Sword.

Parrying returns in Age of Calamity too!

First off, make sure you’re playing as a character that can parry, such as trusty hero Link.

Then, hold the block button which is LZ on the Switch.

Finally, just before a beam or other attack is about to land, press the Y button to do a light attack.

Though, rather than being a light attack, your character will parry!
