Microsoft Reportedly Plans to Keep Some Activision Games on PlayStation

Microsoft will acquire Activision Blizzard for nearly $70 billion, and while the deal has raised some questions about whether Activision properties will become Xbox exclusives, Bloomberg says otherwise. Part of the publication's coverage of the deal included a short snippet from "sources familiar with [Microsoft's] thinking" that said the truth is somewhere in between.

Activision Blizzard franchises such Diablo, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, and Tony Hawk are all available for PS4 consoles, along with Call of Duty and much more. It's unclear just yet which of these franchises would end up being Xbox exclusives or what that might even look like, whether, for example, Diablo 4 could be Xbox exclusive or Blizzard will develop a new Diablo specifically for Xbox.
