Animal Crossing: New Horizons was again the best-selling physical game this week, with Mario Kart 8: Deluxe following in second according to GamesIndustry.biz.
Interestingly, the site also notes that Ring Fit Adventure missed out on the third spot by just 52 units, which would've left Nintendo as the publisher of the top three selling titles of the week.
Instead, it was Black Ops Cold War that took bronze this week.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Continues Domination of UK Boxed Charts
Still, not much for Nintendo to grumble about as Minecraft on Switch comes in at number 5, and the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection is at number 9.
FIFA 21 climbed two places to 8th, while GTA 5 dropped places to 6th – but considering the game has been out since 2013, it's incredible how much staying power it has.
Check out the top 10 below.
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition
- Grand Theft Auto 5

It's perhaps no surprise that Animal Crossing continues to dominate the charts. Not only is it almost the top-selling Switch game, but Nintendo confirmed that around 39% of Switch owners also own the game.
