It seems that the Tekken 8 leaks just won’t stop, as we now know who will be the first DLC character coming to the game. Before we start blaming any leakers, this is Bandai Namco’s fault, as the company accidentally released the name of the DLC character video early.

Spoilers for the first Tekken 8 DLC character beyond this point.

The eagle-eyed fans at ResetEra were able to see Bandai Namco’s slip-up, revealing that Filipina fighter Josie Rizal will be returning to the roster. Josie quickly became a fan-favorite when she was revealed in Tekken 7, so her return here should make plenty of Tekken players happy.

Luckily, we don’t know who else is going to be in Tekken 8 DLC, so Bandai Namco should probably do a better job at keeping things a secret. While the initial leaks weren’t on them, this YouTube slip-up is and it’s spoiling whatever secrets this upcoming fighter has left.

For those unfamiliar, the latest addition to the King of Iron Fist Tournament has been leaked for the past few months now. Although it was nowhere as bad as the Insomniac leak, the game’s initial roster and various modes were revealed ahead of time, removing any surprises Bandai Namco had planned.

At the least, fighting game fans can rest assured that Tekken 8 is near and the game is looking pretty darn good. Visually, the fighter is miles ahead when compared to Tekken 7, while the mechanics continue to look more refined. Curious fans can also check out a chunky demo that’s available now, giving fans four characters, one hour of story mode, and a preview of the new Arcade Quest single-player mode.
