Best Fortnite ARs: Chapter 5 Season 1
There are only three Assault Rifles available in Chapter 5: Season 1. However, despite the limited options, each gun is considered a high-tier weapon. To help you make the most of these weapons, we've compiled a list detailing their statistics.
We'll update this guide to reflect the ever-changing meta, but let's take a look at the best Assault weapons in Fortnite right now.
Striker Assault Rifle
Rarity | DPS | Damage | Magazine Size | Fire Rate | Reload Time | Structure Damage |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 186.3 | 23 | 25 | 8.1 | 3.52s | 23 |
Legendary | 226.8 | 28 | 25 | 8.1 | 2.88s | 28 |
The Striker Assault Rifle is one of the best weapons in Chapter 5: Season 1. Striker AR is a fully automated weapon with a high fire rate and low damage. It shreds at close and mid ranges when used in short controlled bursts. It allows Striker AR to outperform some SMGs.
It’s worth noting that the rifle has low bullet velocity, so we don’t recommend attaching P2X Optic or Sniper Optic and using the Striker AR for long-range battles. The weapon is not designed for that, and you'll get better results at mid or short-range.
Nemesis Assault Rifle
Rarity | DPS | Damage | Magazine Size | Fire Rate | Reload Time | Structure Damage |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 145 | 30 | 28 | 5 | 2.75s | 29 |
Legendary | 175 | 35 | 28 | 5 | 2.25s | 35 |
The Nemesis Assault Rifle is a high-damage, slow-firing weapon that serves as the long-range counterpart to the Striker AR. While not the fastest, the Nemesis AR has low recoil which makes it excellent at long ranges.
Nemesis AR works perfectly in Zero Build and much worse in the classic Battle Royale. Long reload times combined with moderate DPS makes you vulnerable in 1v1 build fights.
Enforcer Assault Rifle
Rarity | DPS | Damage | Magazine Size | Fire Rate | Reload Time | Structure Damage |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 126.4 | 32 | 25 | 3.95 | 2.42s | 32 |
Legendary | 158 | 40 | 25 | 3.95 | 1.98s | 40 |
The Enforcer Assault Rifle is one of the latest Fortnite weapons that was significantly buffed in the Fortnite 28.10 update.
The Enforcer fires slower than the Nemesis and the Striker but hits harder with a basic damage of 32. The weapon has the highest headshot multiplier of any assault rifle with a value of 1.65x, in contrast to the 1.50x multiplier of other ARs.
The Enforcer Assault Rifle has a similar role to the DMR, making it ideal for medium to long-range fights. With its high headshot multiplier, you can take out your opponents with just a few well-placed shots.
