There's nothing like a card that brings absolute chaos instead of dominating the meta, and while the best Marvel Snap Arishem deck will give you a great shell for this strange card, it's easily one of the most interesting additions in a long time regardless.
That's because Arishem's ability is 'At the start of the game, +1 Max Energy. Shuffle 12 random cards into your deck.' Unlike most of the meta cards like the best Marvel Snap Thanos decks and the best Marvel Snap destroy decks, Arishem creates a unique situation, giving you plenty of random cards that could result in 8-Cube wins.
Best Arishem Deck in Marvel Snap
Here's the best Arishem deck in Marvel Snap right now:
- Sunspot
- Grandmaster
- Armor
- Cosmo
- Phastos
- Baron Zemo
- Shang-Chi
- Absorbing Man
- Loki
- Mockingbird
- Doctor Doom
- Arishem
This is a very Series 5-heavy deck, so unless you've been keeping up with the various Marvel Snap seasons and collection new Marvel Snap cards, you'll likely having some missing entries. You could add in cards like Enchantress, Quinjet, Rogue, and other tech cards as alternate options.
However, if you can build the deck above, you'll find yourself with plenty of cards that work well with Arishem. The extra energy provides is great food for Sunspot to grow, discounting Mockingbird with Arishem's cards is easy, typically making her a 1/9 or 2/9 in the first few turns, and Loki gives you a way to copy your opponent's cards if you've had bad luck.
It's unlikely you'll see Arishem appear in your hand often, but as a 7/7 card, he's typically not worth playing. Much like High Evolutionary, Arishem is brilliant thanks to his ability, rather than his cost-to-power ratio.
Is Arishem Worth Unlocking in Marvel Snap?
Arishem is hardly a meta-defining card in his own right. However, he's absolutely one of the most fun cards in Marvel Snap right now, and much like High Evolutionary's launch last year, we have yet to find more combinations that make him an extremely brilliant card.
That being said, while Arishem and his ability may not win you games by default, the randomness of the cards he adds makes it difficult for your opponents to predict your play. That makes him an excellent card for surprise 8-Cube wins, but expect to retreat often due to bad luck.
However, while the best Arishem deck in Marvel Snap may not bring you plenty of wins, it's undoubtedly very enjoyable. Add in cards like Thanos and Agatha Harkness for the longest intro to each game possible, just for the fun of it. Make sure to pick up some Marvel Snap Gold to buy variants for some of the cards above, too!
