With The Black Order swarming the Marvel Snap card collection this season, it's no surprise that Corvus Glaive is the next member to join the party. If you've been waiting for a new card to twist up the discard meta, Corvus might just be it.

Discard decks in Marvel Snap have been some of the most exciting, with cards like the Goddess of Death, Hela, sweeping up cubes left and right. However, Corvus' ability adds an interesting dynamic to both discard and ramp decks, with his ability being "On Reveal: Discard 2 cards from your hand to get +1 Max Energy".

So, put away that best Marvel Snap destroy deck and grab the new Marvel Snap card, as here's what you need to build to win cubes with Corvus Glaive.

Best Marvel Snap Corvus Glaive deck

The best Corvus Glaive deck in Marvel Snap right now, according to the Untapped tracker, is:

  • Blade
  • Electro
  • Corvus Glaive
  • Jubilee
  • Sandman
  • Ronan the Accuser
  • Doctor Doom
  • Hela
  • Odin
  • Magneto
  • Giganto
  • Infinaut

It's no surprise that, considering Hela's domination as a way to put plenty of high-power cards across the board, Corvus Glaive fits as an excellent enabler. His ability to discard two cards, as well as give you +1 Max Energy each turn, means you can bring out an additional 6-Cost card on Turn 5, or bring Sandman out early to stop your opponents combos.

Thankfully, this deck offers only one Series 5 card - Corvus Glaive himself. The rest of the cards are found at Series 3 or below, meaning there shouldn't be too many issues crafting this deck. However, if you're missing some Series 3 cards like Doctor Doom, you can replace them with equally powerful 6-Cost cards like Orka or Hulk.

Fortunately, Corvus Glaive isn't a major requirement to run this deck. Electro will also give you additional energy, allowing you to discard a heavy hitter with Blade early on, drop Electro on Turn 3, Sandman on the next turn, and Hela to bring back the powerful card on Turn 5. Alternatively, dropping Doctor Doom on Turn 5 and then playing Odin next to him on Turn 6 will net you 20-Power on the other lanes.

I think it'll be some time before Corvus Glaive finds his perfect deck. Many discard decks don't require additional energy, hence why a discard-ramp hybrid is performing well so far. However, as time goes on, we imagine Corvus Glaive will find his home in a deck that he is core to.

That's the best Marvel Snap Corvus Glaive deck to use right now. If you're hoping to grab Gladiator or X-23 in the latest Spotlight Cache, you may want to pick up some Marvel Snap Gold before the caches reset.
