The Season 4 Reloaded update for Warzone is officially underway. The most recent seasonal update changes Caldera for the better, but it introduces the new Fortune's Keep map. When it comes to finding the best Warzone loadout, there are several assault rifles (AR) that can make an impact in those competitive mid-range engagements, and with the latest season of post-launch content underway, the metagame continues to change.

Considering there are a number of ARs battling to become the best Warzone assault rifle, a lot of players are leaning towards the NZ-41 as their main weapon, and even more so following the buff at the beginning of Season 4. In this NZ-41 guide, we will show you the best NZ-41 attachments for the assault rifle, along with the best NZ-41 loadout that will make it a powerful force on the battlefield.

What is the best NZ-41 Warzone loadout?

Following another nerf, the NZ-41 doesn't dominate in the same way it once did. However, it's still a viable option in the second half of Season 4 Reloaded. Having spent some time testing different attachment combinations, this particular build continues to make an impact.

Despite its lack of range and another nerf, the NZ-41 boasts an impressive output of damage meaning you can prioritise attachment selection to help control the rifle. With improvements to recoil and accuracy, this build is superb in mid-range combat.

How to unlock NZ-41 in Warzone

Sadly, if you saw players using the NZ-41 in Warzone and were hoping it would be easy to unlock, we have some bad news for you. Players will have to reach Rank 41 if they want to unlock the NZ-41 on Call of Duty: Vanguard or the battle royale, a tough task for even veteran players since the game isn’t that old yet, so use a Double XP boost.

Best NZ-41 Warzone attachments

Following some changes in Season 4 Reloaded, the meta NZ-41 loadout has changed slightly from what you may have been using in Season 3. The buff to the Orbweaver 360mm BC barrel means it's now a better choice than the burst option we all used previously. Not only that, but using the 360mm means you don't have to worry about switching to automatic fire whenever you pick the gun up.

Due to the NZ-41 lacking range, the following attachments to this weapon will prioritize its control and accuracy, which should make it a better gun overall, especially with the already impressive firepower it puts out. Here are the attachments that make the NZ-41 an even bigger threat:

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Orbweaver 360mm BC
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Orbweaver E Pack
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 50 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk: Brace
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Overall, this build is exceptional in mid-range combat and with a bit of trigger discipline, the NZ-41 is the perfect tool to deal some damage in long-range engagements.

Best Warzone NZ-41 perks and equipment

One important part about playing Warzone is making sure that the combination of Perks and Equipment you choose complements the NZ-41. Having something that deals some additional damage is always a good choice so here's the best Perks and Equipment to use alongside the rifle.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Combat Scout (Perk 3)

Unsurprisingly, we chose E.O.D., Overkill, and Combat Scout as the NZ-41’s Perks since they let you take more damage, carry an extra primary weapon, and allow you to see your target with ease.

Equipment

  • Secondary: MP40
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Stun

You can’t go wrong with an MP40 as your extra primary weapon since that can dish out damage as well as the NZ-41, while a combination of the Throwing Knife and Stun should lead to some extra kills down the line.

Is the NZ-41 good in Warzone?

At the start of Season 4, the NZ-41 is without doubt the best AR in the game for mid-range fights. It may even be the best gun in the game, full stop.
