How To Complete Treasure Hunter Quest

To begin this quest, you first need to head to the North Shore of the Bitter Lake Keeper's Shrine, located in Bitter Lake.

Here, you’ll find yourself in the same location where you first encountered Chen Loong during the Chen Loong quest. After following the coastal road for a while, you’ll need to pass through the red building and continue a bit further.

At the end of the path, you will spot a Treasure Hunter surrounded by three enemies. He needs your help, so you’ll need to deal with these three enemies first. These enemies are not very tough; you can defeat them pretty quickly.

After defeating the enemies, click on the option to talk to the Treasure Hunter and begin your dialogue with him. Once you do this, the quest will officially start.

You'll need to find the Treasure Hunter again to complete the rest of the quest's tasks. However, you won’t find him in the same location this time. Instead, you need to head to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine in the Valley of Ecstasy.

After reaching the shrine, follow the main path. Remember that there will be many enemies along the way; you can either fight them or quickly run through and stay focused on your target. The choice is entirely yours, of course.

After continuing a bit further on the main path, you will come across a gate resembling a torii gate. Instead of passing through it, you need to turn left. You'll then see a narrow path leading downward, which you should follow. Shortly after, you'll reach a shrine called the Towers of Karma.

Sun Wukong are using his Ring of Fire spell for Treasure Hunter

Here, you need to equip yourself with the Ring of Fire spell. To do this, simply follow the steps: Self-Advance > Set Spells > Ring of Fire after interacting with the shrine. Once you've done that, move forward a bit in the area directly across from the shrine, and you'll spot the Treasure Hunter sitting on a rock on the right side.

Use the Ring of Fire spell you just equipped to help the NPC who is about to freeze from the cold. The spell will create a fire circle, and the Treasure Hunter will sit in the middle to warm up. Now, start talking to him and complete all the dialogues.

The mission's most important and final part is a boss fight. To prepare for this, return to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine, turn right before entering the main path, and proceed downward. As with your previous journeys, you'll encounter many enemies and need to decide how to handle them.

Continue on your way until you see a pond. Cross the pond, and you'll find a few enemies frozen at the end of it. This indicates a secret path requiring you to go further down. Use the rocks as a ladder to climb down carefully. You'll arrive at the Melon Field shrine by reaching the bottom via the tree path.

Once you enter the cave next to the Melon Field shrine, a cutscene will trigger, and you will face the boss you need to defeat. However, this boss is no ordinary foe. He is the Treasure Hunter, also known as the Green-Capped Martialist, whom you have assisted throughout the mission and saved from death multiple times.
