Blasphemous, 2019's gothic indie darling, is getting a crossover with Castlevania's spiritual successor, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
The two combat-focused platformers collide with the new Strife and Ruin update available in Blasphemous as of February 18.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's Miriam Is Coming To Blasphemous
The new content will focus on helping Miriam return to her own world, with challenging platforming and a special reward up for grabs.
It's not all story content, though, as the update also introduces Boss Rush mode for players that have completed the main storyline.
Players can compete for higher scores, with those able to show off their prowess able to claim medals.
There's also a new Demake Area which offers a throwback to the 8-bit era of platformers, hidden away in an arcade cabinet in Cvstodia.
Protagonist The Penitent One will need to gather five golden skulls and defeat a new boss to earn rewards, with a new filter on the game's visuals available to bolster the retro aesthetic.
The free update lands on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 on 18th February.
Blasphemous launched back in 2019, offering a twisted, gory Metroidvania with plenty of challenge.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night launched the same year, and comes from Koji Igarashi – one of the key figures behind the Castlevania series.
