The Next Major Update

Compared to the major updates that often arrive on Black Ops Cold War, the January 12th update is one of the smaller updates that players are likely to see throughout the cycle of the game.

The next major update to release will be the mid-season update and will see a range of new content arrive, including the release of brand-new Fireteam map Sanatorium.

If rumours are to be believed, Sanatorium will be the centre of a brand-new Warzone map set within the Ural Mountains. It is also expected that the other Fireteam maps will make up large sections of the map which is rumoured to be arriving in March, coinciding with the first anniversary of the battle royale.

Alongside the new map, multiplayer will receive a brand-new game mode known as Dropkick and will see players battle it out to secure a batch of nuclear codes.
