For those after a multiplayer map with a somewhat traditional three-lane layout, Moscow is the map for you.

Consisting of three lanes offering many engagement opportunities, Moscow is often filled with plenty of action as players battle for Domination points and Hardpoint hills.

In order to emerge victorious on this particular map, it is extremely important to be aware of where the enemy team is spawning in relation to your position on the map.

On Domination, it can be a simple process to trap the opposition into a specific area of the map but for other modes such as Kill Confirmed, it can be very easy to be caught out by an opponent that has spawned behind you.

Crossroads Strike

Crossroads Strike is a small section of the Combined Arms map Crossroads.

This condensed version of the map is the smallest multiplayer map in Black Ops Cold War and is always filled with fast and furious action as two teams of six go at each other.

Despite its small size, there are a range of play styles that are viable on the map, including watching the open lane with a sniper from the small cliff or heading head-first into the action with an SMG.

To succeed in Hardpoint, securing control and the third and fourth hills is the perfect chance to secure over 100 points for your team. While a lot of focus is put on the front of the cliff, make sure to pay attention to the flank as it is easy for the opposition to launch a well-timed attack to evict you and your team from the Hardpoint.

For this map, we recommend that you select the AK-74u SMG. Its sheer versatility makes it the perfect weapon to use in close-quarters gunfights or if you’re trying to pick off a target from a distance. For the best AK-74u loadout, check out our weapon guide.
