The mid-season update for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is now upon us!

The middle of a season will see both titles receiving a range of updates including the addition of a new Fireteam map, a number of bug fixes, and so much more.

Patch 1.10 will be the next major update to hit Black Ops Cold War while Warzone will be receiving patch 1.31, much to the delight of its players.

We’ve already spoke on what the community would love to see in the next updates for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

As focus begins to switch to the release of Season Two, the mid-season update is an ideal time for Treyarch and Raven Software to rectify a number of bugs and glitches that currently plague both games alongside some new content to refresh the game ahead of the new season.

Mid-Season Update Release Date

On January 7th, Treyarch revealed that the mid-season update for Black Ops Cold war will go live on January 14th.

It is expected that Warzone will follow suit and release an update at the same time but with Raven Software in control of all things Warzone, it may arrive at a different date.

Release Time

The update will be go live at 10AM PT/6PM GMT.

Mid-Season Update Pre-Load

As we’ve seen in previous updates, PlayStation users have had the option to download the update prior to its release so they can jump straight into the action as soon as the new content goes live.

Pre-loading the mid-season update will likely take place two days before the update goes live so keep an eye on your consoles from January 12th.

Warzone Bug Fixes

In the days leading up to the mid-season update, the invisibility and unlimited stim glitches that plagued the early stages of the season have reappeared.

More permanent fixes for both bugs could well be introduced as part of this update; with the infinite stim glitch now being fixed.

Combined with some more robust weapon tuning, this update could be exactly what Warzone players and fans have been looking for.
