The Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to joining forces with legendary movies and TV series. In recent years, Activision’s shooter has partnered with the likes of John McClane and John Rambo in addition to the hugely popular Attack on Titan anime.
With Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 fans preparing for the arrival of the Season Two Reloaded update, Activision is starting to tease even more additions to the battle royale and multiplayer.
Following a cryptic Twitter post, it appears the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are on their way to battle against a familiar foe.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Call of Duty?
Although Shredder is the only confirmed character from the world of TNMT, numerous fans are hoping Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael also make their way into Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. On the other hand, there are some members of the community questioning Activision’s decision to join forces with the turtles. “Out of all possible collabs, why Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?” questions one fan.
There’s a very high chance the crossover coincides with the launch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the latest in the series. On, March 7, the first teaser for the film hit our screens before its release date on August 4.

Shredder will make its way to Call of Duty as a standalone bundle meaning fans will need to spend some money on COD Points to get their hands on the skin. There’s no word on whether the four heroes will join Shredder in what’s already shaping up to be another fun collaboration. It can’t be any worse than Krampus, right?
