The first season of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is fast approaching.
While a lot of focus has been on the fifth chapter of the Black Ops sub-franchise, plenty of players have continued to drop into Verdansk to get their fix of Call of Duty battle royale action.
Alongside Black Ops Cold War, Warzone is also set to receive a wave of brand-new content as Season One gets underway.
The entire Black Ops Cold War weapon arsenal is to be integrated into Warzone, along with a “classified experience” which is widely believed to be the return of Rebirth Island.
As Warzone players and fans prepare for the new season, it appears that the integration process has hit a bump on the road to release.

Black Ops Cold War Integration Delayed
According to reliable leaker @ModernWarzone, Black Ops Cold War integration into Warzone has been pushed back from December 10th to December 19th.
It is unclear as to why the integration has been delayed, especially when December 10th marks the start of a brand-new level progression system that spans across Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Warzone.
For those wanting to use new weaponry on Warzone, you will have to wait a little bit longer in order to do so.

Why Has It Been Delayed?
While the exact reason for the delay has yet to be revealed, there is one theory doing the rounds that makes a lot of sense.
ModernWarzone has revealed that it isn't just the release of Cyberpunk which has caused a delay to Season One. The leaker stated that some of the content that is set for release still "needed work", which explains a lot.
December 10th is the release date of highly anticipated action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077. A lot of attention is going to be on this game as opposed to the release of Season One and the new weaponry arriving in Warzone.
There are plenty of content creators that are partnered with Activision will be wanting to play Cyberpunk as opposed to Warzone, so delaying the integration to the 19th when the Cyberpunk hype has died down a little is a sensible move in order to give the new content maximum exposure.
It is certainly annoying for those that don’t have an interest in Cyberpunk but from a business perspective, delaying Black Ops Cold War integration into Warzone for a few more days is certainly the right move.
