The world of BitLife is as immersive as it gets. If you can think of a location, the chances are it's in the game. As such, our BitLife city list will break down some of the most notable spots in the text-based life simulator, giving you some pointers as to where your next adventure should take place.
In our BitLife city guide, we'll go over some of the best cities in the game, as well as the spots where gameplay is slightly different—just in case you're growing tired of the same old routine. We'll also explain how you can move to a different city if you're bored of your current whereabouts and opportunities.
Of course, you'll need plenty of BitLife money if your plan is to emigrate to somewhere else. Equally, you can do it using BitLife God Mode, so there are plenty of options. Outside of BitLife, our Cookie Run: Kingdom codes could certainly come in handy if you're a fan of battling baked goods.
BitLife city list
As there are several hundred BitLife city possibilities, we're not going to list each and every one of them in the game. Instead, we've listed a few notable cities that have a lot to offer:
- Sydney, Australia
- Rio de Janiero, Brazil
- Beijing, China
- Paris, France
- Mumbai, India
- Doha, Qatar
- Moscow, Russia
- Cape Town, South Africa
- London, United Kingdom
- Madrid, Spain
These are some of the most interesting cities in the game. They're all well-known and economically developed locations, which generally leads to plenty of opportunities for new jobs and spontaneous dynamic events.
We've purposefully picked a lot of capital cities, as those are the most notable places, and the areas you're most likely to encounter in-game. However, there are hundreds of other BitLife city locations within the base game. Almost anywhere you can think of is a BitLife city ready to serve as your potential new home.

If your specific home city or town isn't a BitLife city already, you can actually add it yourself. It's easy to do.
On the main menu, you should see the option to add custom locations and people. It doesn't have to just be a city, either. If you wish to add your hometown or a small, obscure village as a BitLife city, you're free to do so. Why? Because it adds to the immersion and fills in the gaps that the game's database could have missed, giving every player the opportunity to start in a place they might otherwise have ignored.
What are the differences between BitLife cities?
It should be noted that the difference between one BitLife city and another is almost always cosmetic. You won't necessarily encounter exclusive opportunities by living in Moscow over Sydney, for example. However, chances are you'll want your BitLife character to live in a location that's especially noteworthy. It's always nice to start a BitLife save close to home, hence the appeal of different BitLife city options.
That's not to say there aren't any differences between one BitLife city and another. There are a few very small ones. The name of BitLife schools like universities or community colleges will change based on your location, for example. On top of that, local restrictions and laws will vary based on country to country. In an American city, your character will be able to start driving at 16. In England, that age requirment will rise to 17.
Age restrictions make up the most of the differences, so if you'll looking to get to the exciting parts of adult life at speed, you'll want to aim for a Bit city in a country with more relaxed laws. Equally, some jobs are limited to specific places, like the English football career, or the NFL career path in America.
How do I move to a different BitLife city?
If you're bored of your current location in BitLife, there are two different ways to move to a different BitLife city. Right now, there are two options: one involving microtransactions, and another that relies on you becoming a god. That's right.
First off, you can use the emigrate tool to move to another BitLife city without spending actual money. When you pick this option, you'll have a list of destinations to choose from. You'll only see eight options each year, though, so if none of these places appeal to you, just try again next year. However, it should be noted that you cannot choose the BitLife city in which you move, just the country. The choice is limited in that respect, but the laws you're aiming to fall under should still apply.
If you want even more control, you'll want to turn to BitLife God Mode. With this paid feature, you can select your country and city of origin when creating a character. It does cost money, so it won't be an option for everyone, but it'll save you heaps of time.
And that should be everything you need to know about the BitLife city system. We've gone over what cities there are, the differences between them, and how you can move city if you're searching for greener pastures. Good look out there.
