COD Mobile Season 7 Heat Wave content
Before COD Mobile Season 7 was unveiled, there were a few leaks and rumours about weapons and new modes. Now that we have official details, here’s a quick rundown of what to expect in Heat Wave.
New Mode: Safeguard
The upcoming season will see a new multiplayer mode titled ‘Safeguard.’ Much like the name suggests, teams will have to take turns and ensure that the robot reaches safely at the marked destination.
As it is a turn-based mode, each team will take turns attacking the robot and then defending it. The team that wins two rounds wins the game. In case of a draw, the game goes into overtime to determine the eventual victor.
New Map: Seaside
Heat Wave’s heat takes you to the Seaside - a new map that will soon be a part of the game. Set in Spain, the mid-sized map was first seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. There’s a lot going on here - markets, wine cellars, rooftops, and tanks.
New Weapons: Striker 45
For COD Mobile Season 7, the Striker 45 was rumoured to be launched, and it appears that the rumours are true.
The SMG is a part of the new battle pass and is capable of shredding at longer distances and surpasses all the other weapons in the class.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 tournament mode
As a part of the new seasonal update, the Tournament Mode has also received an update. Players can now receive extra COD points with the Rewards Spinners. The spinner will appear at frequent intervals throughout the tournaments. The rewards can be used towards battle pass progression or the store.
For Heat Wave, there will be a Summer Sizzle event where you can earn barbeque points. To get a taste of the BBQ, players will have to answer trivia questions and complete in-game challenges. With each taste, players get a reward, and the BBQ’s heat level shoots up a little.
Apart from this, players can earn more rewards by logging in every day, completing daily tasks, and participating in the new events that will be coming up.
COD Mobile is available for download at the Google Play Store as well as App Store.
