FromSoftware could be planning an Elden Ring expansion or DLC in the future. Having launched two weeks ago, one dataminer has now uncovered what appears to be a huge colosseum, which is currently inaccessible.
Discovered by Lance McDonald, who previously made a name for themselves with Soulsborne datamines, they released footage via YouTube. Believing this relates to upcoming DLC, McDonald thinks that’s for a Player vs Player (PvP) experience. If true, it'd follow similar post-launch plans seen in all three Dark Souls games.
Elden Ring Datamine Uncovers A Mysterious Colosseum
Right now, you can find a ghost outside this building. If spoken to, they say "all I wanted was to fight. To fight, as a warrior, at last. So why? Why, O guidance of grace, will this door not open?" You can see the video in full below:
Elsewhere, Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin confirmed he's pleased with the game's reviews, while it also opened to strong sales. Elden Ring is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
