Attributes in Cyberpunk are divvied up into five sections:

  • Body
  • Reflexes
  • Intelligence
  • Technical Ability
  • Cool

Here's what each does, and why they're worth investing in.

Body:

Anything to do with V's vitality can be found in this section. Increased Body stats allow for better health and stamina, as well as more powerful melee attacks.

It also increases V's strength and reduces recoil, so it's a category you'll want to invest in if you're looking to brute force your way through encounters.

Reflexes

Reflexes is a broad category but can have a big effect on combat since it includes attack speed and evasiveness.

It also increases your chances of a critical hit, V's overall speed, and coordination.

Intelligence

Looking to play smart? As you'd expect, you'll need intelligence. This category will influence your hacking options, as well as daemon uploading times.

You'll also have better memory and intellect, which may help you negotiate opportunities differently.

Technical Ability

Perfect for tinkerers, the Technical Ability attribute can help improve V's armour as well as their chances of finding crafting items.

Invest in this to explore new solutions to problems.

Cool

This broad category is ideal for stealthy players. It increases the damage from critical hits, too, so you can take enemies out quickly and quietly, and improves resistances against status effects.

It also helps with self-control and willpower, potentially opening up new dialogue options.

There's also a slot for a sixth attribute, but we don't know what that entails yet. Could it be tied to DLC?
