Cyberpunk 2077 is still on for it's 17 September launch in spite of the devastating effects that Coronavirus has had on the gaming industry this year.

However, CDPR has just revealed some exciting news, confirming that Cyberpunk 2077 will also get DLC content soon after the launch, which will include a Multiplayer mode.

The upcoming game is set to blow away traditional RPGs by carving out a niche for itself, making it one of the most anticipated games in recent years.

"No Less DLC Than Witcher 3"

During a recent investor Q&A session, CD Projekt President Adam Kiciński answered some questions.

It was here that he revealed that there will be “no less DLC than The Witcher 3.”

This is fantastic news for gamers - especially those that enjoyed playing The Witcher 3 and it's two massive DLCs that came after launch.

The developers got it spot on with DLCs for The Witcher 3 as they were a thing of beauty, adding to the storyline in a multitude of ways.

When Will They Be Released?

If The Witcher 3's blueprint is anything to go by, we may not have to wait that long for the DLC announcement.

The Witcher 3's DLC was released a week before launch and it would be really impressive if we got the same treatment for Cyberpunk 2077.

That said, as long as the game comes out on time, we will be satisfied.

With the developers working around the clock, we wouldn't want to see the process be unhinged by additional pressure and unnecessary deadlines.

If the game turns out to be anywhere near as good as The Witcher 3, we will be in for a treat.
