While a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 players are already imagining how sweet life will be when the Phantom Liberty Expansion arrives and they can ditch their old mate Keanu Reeves for a fresh celebrity friend in Idris Elba, some are still exploring new sides of Night City thanks to the many mods available.
No matter whether these activities involve becoming a stock trader, someone who babysits cats, or a fashionable cyberware model, odds are they’ll probably involve a commute.
So with this in mind, if you’ve blown half of your eddies on a performance vehicle like the Caliburn or Aerondight, it might be worth checking out a new mod which will have your ride sounding top-notch.
Want to make sure your ride of choice in Cyberpunk 2077 turns heads when you change up?
The mod in question is called ‘Cyberpunk 2077 gear ratios RPM rev fix v1.0 (standalone or CVO)’ and is the work of modder imbamakaber.
They’ve decided to take their only previous mod, which improved the gear change ratios of in-game cars and bikes with the help of E3roKK’s ‘Cyber Vehicle Overhaul’, and turn it into a standalone mod which will do all of the same things without messing with any of the game’s automotive physics.
This means you should be able to gain access to the sweet engine sounds showcased in the video below, without having to worry about any sudden skidding or bouncing ten feet in the air when you hit a curb.
They’ve also added more detailed guidance regarding which other vehicle-based mods they’d recommend teaming it with, such as Massycraft’s ‘Accurate Speedometer’ and xoixoi’s ‘Realistic Car Crashes’, in order to achieve the best futuristic driving experience.
If that sounds like something you’re interested in, you’ll first need to grab the aforementioned mod from E3roKK, in addition to awpsoleet’s ‘Cyber Engine Tweaks’
