Cyberpunk 2077 will not offer ray-tracing for AMD graphics cards at launch, the developer has confirmed.
In an interview with PC Gamer's magazine, art director Jakup Knapik confirmed that only Nvidia Geforce cards will support the feature when the game launches next month.

That's a shame for AMD-based graphics card owners because Cyberpunk looks to be a perfect ray-tracing showcase with its neon lighting and dark, moody interiors.
Knapik did, however, confirm that the feature will be available through Nvidia's Geforce Now game streaming.

If you're a console gamer, you're likely wondering what all the fuss is about, but this concerns you, too.
Both the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X will use AMD-based parts, meaning you're going to have to wait a while for the full Cyberpunk 2077 experience on those platforms.
Does that change your platform of choice at all? I have an Nvidia card and I think I'm more likely to pick it up on PC now.
