The Dead Island 2 side quests are great ways to get your hands on some new blueprints and weapons to stay alive on the streets of Hell-A. After several years of waiting, Dead Island 2 is finally out and there's plenty of fun to be had.

Alongside an extensive mission list, the side quests are additional objectives you can complete at any time. Fancy a break from searching for the Officer's Lockbox key? Spend a bit of time helping the residents of zombie-infested Los Angeles and uncover more about those looking to survive.

How many side quests are in Dead Island 2?

In total, there are 33 Dead Island 2 side quests to complete in addition to the main story missions. They're definitely worth doing if you've already finished the main story or are looking for the last few objectives to finish in order to earn 100% completion.

The best thing about side quests is that you can complete them at your own pace. Manage to find a new objective during a main mission? You can cancel the current objective and turn your attention to the side quest that often includes even more exploring and dismembering some tricky zombie opposition.
