New raid weapons always get loot-hungry Guardians flocking to the hardest Destiny 2 content in search of rare spoils. That’s no different with the Destiny 2 Euphony Exotic in The Final Shape. While it’s not quite as spectacular as previous raid weapons, The Final Shape raid weapon is still worth adding to your collection, even if it’s just to say you’ve got it. And, well, you’re in the right place to find out how to get Euphony in Destiny 2, as well as its unique weapon perks.
Euphony is just one of the many new Destiny 2 The Final Shape Exotics that you can get your hands on. While some are rewards for completing the Destiny 2 The Final Shape mission list and quests, others require delving into other activities.
How to Get Euphony in Destiny 2
Euphony is an Exotic linear fusion rifle that can be earned by defeating the Witness in the Destiny 2 The Final Shape raid, Salvation's Edge. It has a chance to drop from the final boss, like all previous raid Exotic weapons.
Like Conditional Finality from the Root of Nightmares, you will likely be able to increase your chances of getting the Euphony Exotic raid weapon by completing certain triumphs in The Final Shape raid.

Destiny 2 Euphony Perks
Euphony is a Strand Exotic linear fusion rifle with the following perks:
- Unwound Intrinsic Trait: Dealing sustained damage with this weapon spawns Threadlings at your target’s location.
- Spindle Trait: Threadling damage increases this weapon's damage.
- Element: Strand
Euphony’s intrinsic perk makes it so dealing Threadling damage increases this weapon's damage. In order words, Euphony is a self-fulfilling prophecy of bonus damage. If paired with a Threadling build, Euphony has potentially to be a very strong DPS weapon, even if its perks aren’t anything too absurd.
The Final Shape Exotic raid weapon also comes with the unique raid origin trait which grants more range and handling near allies. It’s by no means the strongest origin trait but bonus range and handling certainly can’t hurt.
Collective Purpose Origin Trait:
- Gain bonus range and handling when near allies. Bows receive faster draw time and Swords receive faster charge rate. This effect scales with the number of nearby allies.
Destiny 2 Euphony Catalyst
The Euphony Catalyst has yet to be revealed or leaked, though if it does receive a Catalyst, there's a good chance it either builds on its Threadling playstyle or improves the weapon's handling.
That covers the new Destiny 2 Euphony Exotic, how to get it, and its unique perks. Trying to collect all the new items? Take a look at the Destiny 2 Exotic class items that you can get for each class, as well as the Overthrow activity and the Pathfinder system.
